On 10 August 2026, NRRU, through the International Affairs Office under the Office of the President, led 33 faculty members and exchange students from Anshun University, Guizhou Province, People's Republic of China, to visit Wat Chaiwatthanaram in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province as part of the AU and NRRU Language and Culture Exchange 2026, held from 8 to 18 August 2026.
The activity gave the exchange participants an opportunity to learn about one of Thailand's significant historical sites, experience the atmosphere of Ayutthaya-period architecture, and take photos in traditional Thai costumes around Wat Chaiwatthanaram before travelling onward to Nakhon Ratchasima to join language, cultural, and student exchange activities at NRRU throughout the programme.
